The DJI Zenmuse H30 is an advanced sensor launched in 2024 and developed for Matrice series drones, ideal for a wide range of applications, such as industrial inspections, rescue, and surveillance. The Zenmuse H30 series stands out for integrating multiple modules into a single payload, giving operators exceptional versatility and excellent performance in challenging environments.

The series consists of two models: the DJI Zenmuse H30 and the DJI Zenmuse H30T. Both can be mounted on the Matrice 300 RTK and Matrice 350 RTK drones, with the DJI RC Plus being the only compatible remote control. The Zenmuse H30 has four modules: a wide-angle camera, a zoom camera, a laser rangefinder and a NIR (near infrared) auxiliary light. The Zenmuse H30T, on the other hand, incorporates an infrared thermal camera in addition to these modules, increasing its operating capacity for night missions and thermal inspections.

Versatile performance in all conditions

One of the main distinguishing features of the H30 series is its zoom capability, offering up to 34x optical zoom and 400x digital zoom. The zoom camera of the Zenmuse H30 allows you to capture images with a resolution of up to 7328×5496 pixels, while the wide-angle camera reaches 8064×6048 pixels, guaranteeing sharp details in any scene. The H30T version also stands out for its high-resolution thermal camera (1280×1024 pixels), which offers temperature measurement modes in different ranges, from small thermal differentials to high temperatures, reaching up to 1600°C with the use of an infrared density filter.

Intelligent operations for various scenarios

The H30 series brings several innovations over its predecessor, the H20 series. Among the improvements are the Intelligent Capture capability, which automatically adjusts the camera’s parameters to optimize image quality according to light and scene conditions. Also available is the Electronic Dehazing mode, which improves visibility in foggy or drizzly conditions, although this function is only available for the zoom camera. It should be noted that the H30 series includes foreground video stabilization, crucial for operations such as power line inspections, where image stability and sharpness are essential for efficiency and safety.

One sensor, multiple functions

A multi-faceted sensor that adapts to a variety of scenarios, such as geothermal inspections, forest fire prevention, wildlife protection, power line inspections, among others. In the context of search and rescue, the H30T series stands out with auxiliary NIR illumination, which improves visibility in low light conditions, and with the night scene mode which, in the H30T model, allows adjustments to the frame rate for optimal viewing.

Reliable data synchronization and retention

The Zenmuse H30 offers highly reliable data synchronization and retention for critical operations. The pre-recording feature, available on all H30 cameras, allows video segments of 10, 15 or 30 seconds to be stored before the official recording begins. This ensures that important moments that could be missed are captured and preserved. AES-256 encryption protects data transmission between the remote control and the aircraft, while the one-click record wipe function prevents leaks, reinforcing data security and integrity.

DJI’s latest sensor represents a significant advance in sensor technology for drones, combining multiple functionalities in a single robust and reliable device. Whether for complex inspections or critical rescue missions, the H30 series offers a complete solution that increases the efficiency and safety of aerial operations. With IP54 protection, these sensors are prepared to withstand harsh environments, ensuring accurate data and image collection in any conditions.
