The Reach RS2+ is a multi-constellation GNSS receiver that provides fixed solutions in just a few seconds and maintains robust performance even in challenging conditions. It achieves centimetre-level accuracy at distances of up to 60 km in RTK and 100 km in PPK.

Built-in LTE modem
The device includes a power-efficient LTE modem with global 2G/3G fallback. Corrections can be accessed or transmitted via NTRIP, without relying on a mobile phone’s internet connection.
22-hour battery life
Enjoy up to 22 hours of operation on a single charge in static logging mode and up to 16 hours as an LTE rover. The Reach RS2+ charges via USB-C using a wall charger or a power bank, even in cold weather conditions.

Real-time position streaming
- The device supports real-time position streaming in NMEA format, widely used by most surveying and GIS applications.
- Connect via Bluetooth or RS-232, and use the Emlid Flow app to enable position output.
Base station and rover for centimetre precision
For centimetre accuracy in RTK and PPK, the Reach RS2+ requires a base station to provide corrections. This base station can be another Reach RS2+ or an NTRIP service. VRS (Virtual Reference Station) support is also available.
Achieve ranges of up to 60 km in RTK and 100 km in PPK.

Engineered to be tough
The Reach RS2+ is designed to withstand challenging environments. It is IP67-rated, making it waterproof and dustproof. It can operate in extreme temperatures, ranging from -20°C to +65°C. Its polycarbonate body and elastomer coating provide resistance to shocks and drops.
LoRa radio with long-range capabilities
The integrated LoRa radio, with a frequency range of 868/915 MHz, offers a communication distance of up to 8 km. With LoRa Spread Spectrum modulation, it achieves four times the range of traditional FSK radios at the same power output.
Compact and lightweight
Weighing only 950 g and with dimensions of 126 x 142 mm, the Reach RS2+ is compact, lightweight, and easy to carry. It fits neatly into a small bag.

The LiFePO4 industrial battery offers over 2,000 charge/discharge cycles while maintaining its original capacity. It operates reliably in both high and low temperatures, making it ideal for harsh environments.
