The RedEdge-P undergoes a very rigorous factory calibration process. It uses industry-leading optical devices and image sensors that are linked to scientific-grade narrow-band filters.
Storage Boost: removable storage on CFexpress allows for more than two captures per second. By swapping cards between flights you can switch back to the function.
New aluminium body for improved durability and high temperature performance. Global shutter imagers: no bracketing and no moving parts.
Synchronised multispectral and high-resolution RGB capture: simultaneous capture of up to six discrete spectral bands, enabling multiple high-resolution outputs. Outputs: RGB, plant vigour indices (NDVI, NDRE, among others).
Double the spatial resolution: RedEdge-P delivers higher resolution RGB and multispectral outputs through a panchromatic image sensor. It can detect problems or less visible resources earlier, making management decisions faster and more effective.

Through a high-resolution panchromatic image sensor, the MicaSense RedEdge-P enables higher resolution RGB and multispectral outputs (2 cm resolution on flights at 60 m).
