Master all environments
The drones use the same cameras as the Matrice 4 series, but offer enhanced flight performance and protection. They can also be paired with DJI RC Plus 2 Enterprise for autonomous use. With DJI FlightHub 2’s intelligent functions, pilots can significantly reduce operation time and labor costs, maximizing efficiency and savings.
Once the installation is complete, operators can directly use the RTK account of the shared network to calibrate the dock’s own location, eliminating the need for complicated operations like purchasing and logging in, and quickly obtaining accurate absolute coordinates.

Flexible implantation, ultralong transmission

The DJI Dock 3 can be deployed flexibly, redefining the operations paradigm. For fixed deployments, signal quality can be improved by installing the state-of-the-art D-RTK 3 Relay in elevated locations, allowing flexible dock site selection. With the new DJI Enterprise app, deployment can be completed using just a smartphone. In addition, for the first time, a DJI Dock supports vehicle-mounted deployment, enabling more efficient dispatching during urgent operations and long-distance inspections.
Fixed installation
The new fixed deployment version of the D-RTK 3 Relay offers superior anti-interference performance for video transmission and satellite acquisition. Installing it in elevated locations can effectively solve video and RTK transmission signal problems caused by obstructions, extending the maximum transmission distance up to 25 km. This capability allows flexible site selection of the Dock 3 according to actual operational needs.

Mobile Vehicle Mounted Implantation
The DJI Dock 3 is the first DJI Dock to support vehicle-mounted mobile deployment. Optimized for this purpose, the Dock’s overall structure, components and air conditioning have undergone vehicle vibration testing, with new features such as horizontal calibration and cloud-based dock location calibration. For emergency operations or long-distance inspections, using the DJI Dock 3 vehicle-mounted gimbal mount for mobile deployment provides a convenient solution when fixed deployment is impractical in temporary scenarios.
Cloud-based dock location calibration
- During mobile operations, the in-house team can use DJI FlightHub 2 to remotely define the dock location and assign tasks in the cloud, increasing staff efficiency and scheduling.
Secure implantation of double dock
- Two docks can be installed on a single vehicle simultaneously, resulting in a significant increase in efficiency. The DJI Dock 3 employs a special acquisition pattern to avoid collisions between drones and ensure operational safety, allowing the two docks to alternate tasks in an orderly fashion.
Dual Drone Rotation
- Automated rotation of two drones in hover mode allows continuous transmission of real-time aerial images. In emergency scenarios, a spotlight can be equipped to provide full-time illumination.
High performance drones
The new waterproof and dustproof DJI Matrice 4D and 4TD are designed specifically for the DJI Dock 3, offer increased flight time and can be paired with the DJI RC Plus 2 Enterprise for standalone use. Both drones are equipped with a wide-angle camera, medium telecamera, telecamera and laser rangefinder. The Matrice 4D is very effective for high-precision professional mapping and detailed surface inspections. The Matrice 4TD is equipped with an infrared thermal camera and a new NIR auxiliary light, making it suitable for a wide range of applications such as infrastructure inspections, emergency response and public safety.

When fully charged, the Matrice 4D/4TD offers an impressive flight range of 47 minutes at a speed of 15 m/s, achieving a remarkable 37% increase in operating time. Within a 10-kilometer radius, these drones offer 18 minutes of operation. Both models are designed to withstand harsh conditions with an impressive IP55 rating for dust and water resistance.
Obstacle detection for safe operation
The obstacle detection module for Matrice 4D/4TD combines LiDAR and millimeter-wave rotating radar technologies to accurately avoid obstacles at 12 mm cable level at speeds of up to 15 m/s at complex power line crossings, as well as to improve positioning in low light conditions. Operational safety is ensured in a variety of power distribution network environments and complex substation layouts.
Unmatched clarity and precision for any task, at any time
The Matrice 4D series drones incorporate four high-resolution, low-light fisheye lenses, which significantly improve low-light visual positioning and obstacle detection capabilities.
The new Night Scene mode offers color night vision. The Matrice 4TD also offers IR cut filter functionality for black-and-white night vision and 24/7 operations, as well as a new NIR auxiliary light that can cover distances up to 100 m.
The Matrice 4TD infrared thermal camera supports UHR infrared imaging mode with image resolutions up to 1280 × 1024 and a high-resolution mode for detailed temperature readings.
Clear vision and stable images
The Matrice 4D series drones are equipped with tele and tele mid-range cameras with close-up stabilization. The mid-range telecamera is effective for mid-range inspections, detecting nails and cracks at 10 meters and clearly reading instrument data in substations.
The 48 MP telecamera captures details, such as signals, at a distance of up to 250 meters. When using the Matrice 4TD’s telecamera while the aircraft glides in a windless environment, the gimbal can be tilted 80 degrees upward, allowing defects on the underside of the bridge to be clearly seen.
Enhanced stabilization keeps foreground subjects sharp during telephoto shots at 10x zoom or higher.
High precision topography
The Matrice 4D series drones excel in high-precision mapping, offering a new 5-way oblique photography function, 3-way orthophotography, and real-time terrain tracking to meet various mapping requirements.
DJI FlightHub 2 has been updated for Matrice 4D/4TD operations. This update introduces a number of flight path planning options, including intelligent 3D capture paths, geometric paths, and slope paths, increasing efficiency while ensuring detailed modeling.
Continuous aerial relay for mountainous terrain
The Matrice 4D series can operate with the DJI RC Plus 2 Enterprise remote controller for standalone use, while featuring an innovative integrated relay function. With this configuration, one drone can fly high as a relay, allowing another drone to operate at a greater distance. The relay drone automatically faces the operating drone, ensuring smooth video transmission without 4G signal or in obstructed conditions. This capability significantly extends the transmission range, making it ideal for SAR tasks and inspections in mountainous areas.
Intelligent features of DJI FlightHub 2
When paired with DJI FlightHub 2, Dock 3 greatly improves the intelligence and efficiency of remote operations.
Automated routes
The new automated flight path is useful in a variety of scenarios, such as public safety and inspections. Once a flight path is established, the drone can automatically detect and capture images or videos of objects such as vehicles and vessels and infrared temperature anomalies, and send notifications to operators.
Intelligent change detection
The new Intelligent Change Detection feature enables effective periodic analysis of changes in an area, helping operators in environmental protection, natural disaster relief and crack detection to make more effective and informed decisions.

Virtual booth
The Virtual Cockpit remote control interface has been significantly enhanced with the introduction of the new Mouselook function. This enhancement allows the drone to adjust its attitude and gimbal orientation automatically, allowing it to quickly and accurately center the frame, thus achieving “point and see”.
Open and fly
Take off quickly and arrive at the emergency site to improve situational awareness. After activating optimal route planning, use FlyTo Tasks to reach a designated point 1 kilometer away and 100 meters high in 100 seconds.
Low latency live display
The engine upgrade significantly reduces the latency of the live display in FlightHub 2, providing reliable support for real-time decision making.
In-flight transmission
In emergency situations, real-time data transmission and rapid modeling can be performed during flight. Data transfer can be completed immediately after landing and an approximate model can be quickly generated via the cloud, significantly increasing efficiency.
