FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

FREQUENT QUESTIONS

Where can I find the iOS version?
Initially we decided to create an Android version as a proof of concept. If there is enough demand from users, we will create an iOS version as well.

How do I change the default application for DJI drones?
Since most people have the default DJI GO 4 application, you need to delete it if you want to select/use your own application.

How many viewers can participate in the live broadcast?
Currently, the service works best if there is only one viewer, although we support multiple viewers. Although the number of viewers that can participate depends on the power of the mobile connection and hardware specifications. The problem is that each user consumes a certain amount of bandwidth for video streaming and CPU for video processing. We tested it with 2-3 viewers and it worked fine with mediocre phones and a 4G network connection.

How to improve the quality of the video stream?
There are many reasons for poor video stream quality. You can check the following:

The streamer’s Internet connection. Being outdoors probably means that you are using a mobile network Internet connection for streaming. Check that your connection speed is in the 3G range.
Viewer’s Internet connection. Check that your viewer has a good Internet connection.
Check the number of viewers who have joined your live broadcast. The quality of the live broadcast depends on this, as each viewer consumes a certain amount of bandwidth for the broadcast.

How to regain control of your drone?
We know what you’re thinking, what if my spotter for whom I’ve enabled remote control starts doing something I don’t like as an operator? How do I regain control of the drone immediately without the hassle of having to change it in the menu? It’s very simple, you can instantly disable the viewer’s remote control by slightly moving the left/right joysticks on your controller.

Is the service free of charge?
The service is free of charge up to 30 minutes of live streaming per month per account. The fee resets on the first day of each month. See pricing section for usage after free minutes are used up.
